Em yours must be spring sown ones then if they're not yet flowering.They're quite late are'nt they, do they have buds on them? Biggles and Maggie, the pinchings were at most 3 inches. They went straight into compost in a pot. No rooting powder or anything like that, just watered in they were. It's worth a try, 'tho not all of them made it to the planting stage, they just shrivelled up and died. Those that have are so strong and healthy, I like to get plants for free if I can.

Cut my second vase full (well about 12) on Saturday There are a couple of the Giant Wave ones in there this time.

More Sweetpeas are coming into flower--Soon be enough for another Vase full-- Isn't it rewarding when you get better rersults to what you expect-

Our sweet peas have slowed right down in this cooler weather, still getting a few little posies for the house though.

Im getting a bit sick of picking them and having to throw hem out after a couple of days!! mine have lots of little hard backed bugs in them as well.

My Sweetpeas are 'no more'-What a pathetic lot I had growing-not even a decent Vaseful-- Is it any wonder I have to come on here to learn from FB-and others on how to grow them?

I think maybe you planted the seeds too late Bigs try doing hem in the Autumn like F.B. Im going to do them as soon as I come back from hols in Oct.

Perhaps the key is to start them early then they cope better with the changes in the weather we seem to be having?
