I started this one Biggles, autumnfruits.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=gardenbanter&action=display&thread=3085 but then the Trials Thread - Sweet Peas took over, there are more postings with hints on that one. The Trial Thread one is the best one for any assistance. I'm not sure if there are any others, will have a nosey. Good evening by the way. Any help would be appreciated by me - I adore sweet peas but they are not as successful in this garden as my old one, although I did do better last year.

Great photo's Farmersboy I have always loved seeing sweetpeas on mass like that and been very envious, I guess starting them off in Oct/ Nov makes all the difference. Any chance you could up load them again using the 640 x 480 option though pretty please

They say that if you continually only use saved seed that after a few years it starts to become weaker. I seen it on an old GW programme where they were interviewing a grower. Has anyone else had this happen?

I have some sweet peas in the garden that come up every year and were here before us (eight years) they were quite diminished last year but that was more to do with the neighbour on the other side of the fence. they are all deep pinky/purple and smell lovely. My BIL reckons they are a type of perpetual sweet peas, but I've never seen them on sale

Yes they are probably perenial Em, are they smaller than normal ? I had a couple of plants in different places when we moved in but they were a bit untidy so I pulled them up.
