Strange day today....went out for lunch...a horrid jacket spud and cheese. The tater tasted strange so I left it...so now I don't know whether to count it or not. Breakfast: Dippy boiled egg with 2 slices of hovis from a small loaf, toasted & spread with phili extra-light Break: 2 tangerines. Lunch: About half a jacket tater with a little bit of grated cheese..and a teeny green salad. Dinner: I've made a large pan of vegetable chili....it's got peppers, onions, carrots, red kidney beans, tater, baby corn and cauliflower in it. Hopefully there'll be enough for me to have for lunch tomorrow as well...unless I get greedy..... :

I am confident it will be a nice one That might be the problem 4P...you're not eating enough. That makes your body think that it's starving and your metabolism slows down to compensate.... I think that you're both beautiful ...(but I don't fancy either of you)

Do you keep them in the fridge?
They are soooo delicious when they're cold.

I forget they're there if I leave them in the fridge...so I keep mine in the fruit bowl.

Dieting would be intolerable if there were no occasional treats, and soon given up! Forgive yourself and move on babe. xx

fankoo The thing is, I'm not letting myself get hungry...so I usually fill up with more sensible stuff like cardboard (rice cakes) or fruit....I might have a banana and a vanilla yogurt in a mo as OH is STILL munching and it's driving me crazy.....

Breakfast: chucky egg and 3 rye crispbreads spread with the light phili 11 am: Banana and a slice of toast with peanut butter on it. early dinner (3pm): Roast chicken, baby taters (boiled), brussels sprouts, caullie and carrot, a tiny bit of stuffing and gravy...slurp. I'm working tomorrow until 9pm so I won't get a chance to eat much...and M&S had a 'meal-deal' on...a large chicken, veg, apple pie and a bottle of wine all for £10. The chaps can eat the apple pie tomorrow when I'm out of the house, and the wine is in the cupboard.

You will see the benefits Cheery and it is better to lose weight slowly - you are very active so still need to eat! And as Sweetleaf says, if you have a little hiccup, so what, it is your treat for doing so well (but don't have too many!!!!) PS Treats I mean!

Just thought (dangerous I know), have you set yourselves any milestones to reach at times and rewarding yourselves for reaching them. Perhaps that would help on the path to your final goals.

Thanks BM We have the same amount to lose (more or less) so are trying to focus on half a stone at a time. We're saving £5 a week as well...so that by the time next spring comes around we'll hopefully be at least a dress size smaller....then we'll spend the dosh on something nice. ...and I'm not particularly active really. I might rush around at work but I'm not a sporty person by any means. The only thing I do is walk really....and not much of that...and garden of course. the traffic's too awful for me to use a bike, the swimming baths here are dreadfully expensive...and I'm a lazy git.....
