I ate it straight from the jug, whist trying to hide behind the fridge door I'd never let the kids have custard for breakfast!

Myrtle where did you get the meatballs from? and does the sauce come with them! I did a stir fry last night with Quorn chicken I thought it came with a sauce (no) so I made one quickly with tomato sauce, red wine, garlic and grated chilli peppers! O.H. said it was tasty which is something as he is a big critic if he doesn like it he tells me.

I bought them from the Costco Wholesalers last night, they are Italian style - I'll look at the box tonight and see who makes them. They are individually frozen so you can cook as few or as many as you want, and you cook them from frozen. I'll make the sauce myself. They do Swedish ones as well (in the fridge cabinet) and they are quite nice but smaller in size.

Liver and mushroom casserole - that sound lovely, we don't eat enough liver really. It's something I tend not to think of when I'm planning the meals, daft really, we both enjoy it.

He doesnt know what cooking is he opens a tin of soup at lunchtime and thinks thats cooking.!! I'm lucky, mine is a good cook - he just doesn't do it that often and when he does, every work surface is used! He will clear up though. He always follows a recipe to the letter as well.

Good for you, it doesn't hurt occasionally does it? Normally when I do them now they are with onion, bacon, cheese but I really enjoyed the plain one last night! Tonight it is fish pie
