I've been a little devil today, I'm doing Tandoori Chicken for dinner, it's marinading in the fridge in bags atm, I've also chopped (chunkily) 2 onions, 6 cloves of garlic, and 6 mushrooms put them in a roasting dish and coated it all in sunflower oil, they're fermenting too atm, I'll then put the marinaded chicken in with them and roast it all together, I'll serve it with plain boiled rice. I'll let you know the results I decided to cook myself a meal today too. So I've prepared myself pineapple jelly and ice-cream. Mmmmmm The jelly and ice-cream proved to be not that filling, but a careful search of my fridge turned up a beef burger that had slipped down behind the shelf and was blocking the drain hole (no wonder water was dripping onto the floor). Have fried it in some old beef dripping and had it with a bread roll left over from last weeks shopping.

I'm using up the left over lamb casserole I cooked in the slow cooker last week, and adding a tin of baked beans to bulk it up. And for pudding I'm having cheese cake. Well it was a fresh cream victoria sponge, but it has morphed into cheesecake. I love it when food does that, don't you?

Oh, you don't know what you are missing ;D

Sounds lovely..........mmmmm....after a day's digging in the garden I summoned up the energy to make us a roast dinner and made OH a quorn and vegetable pie, with carrots, parsnips, runner beans and taties out of the garden - my OH left a large portion of it as usual - then he wondered why I was grumpy.......... Still, at least smallest and I enjoyed our little bit of chicken! (And the dogs had a nice extra - they even ate the parsnips!)

We had tenderloin of pork with apple sauce, roast potatoes and broccoli last night - I'm sure I didn't order tenderloin from the farm, but doing it on the internet it would be quite possible for me! We would have had cider gravy as well, but we drank the cider hubby brought back from Sheppy's Farm! Tonight, I think we are having warm figs and goats cheese wrapped in parma ham - I bought figs last week and then wondered what I was going to do with them!
