Seems I can't look round a GC without spending money.....on Monday I bought a Tara Vine (mini kiwi) from Wilkinsons..... Yesterday my sister took me to TWO GCs in the arvo...I bought an astrantia maj. 'Roma', 2 Lantana 'Orange', 3 dahlietta 'Surprise Becky', and an Alchemilla mollis....why?.... because I needed them.... ;D & above is one of the trilliums I got on Sunday last from Wisly...soooo pretty.....

Tell me about it Sweetleaf - I've still got to go out and vote and get back plant free. Let's hope they haven't got any plants in the church for sale where the voting's taking place. But then again if they haven't I could always take my scissors. Got to come back with something, got to get the precious.....get the precious.......

You mean you don't always carry a couple of nappy sacks in your handbag in case you take cuttings in a friend's garden? ?

Sandwich bags, with ziplock closures P.! ..nappy bags are a new invention to me! But then again so were disposable nappies

PML! Sandwich bags are ok but thicker than nappy sacks. Actually I only use nappy sacks because I still have LOADS left over from when LP was little : They are also useful as mini-bin liners for mini-bins!!!

Well, I managed to get into the church hall to vote and back out again with not a plant or cutting in sight. I didn't allocate any more time before the school run for anything else(apart from this!).BUT I still need some clingfilm......I fear that clingfilm is going to be to me as milk is to Sweetleaf today.......

I'm an absolute dismal failure of a Plantaholic! On going to get the clingfilm I actually DELIBERATELY went out of my way to go past the florists' with all the plants outside and the despair of it - there was absolutely nothing I could buy! Nothing! Couldn't raise even a glimmer of interest. This is seriously bad news.........but then again there wasn't much there. THAT'S the reason, that's it, so please may I remain within P.A., don't kick me out yet........

You are definitely still in P.A. if the reason you didnt buy was a) You already had plant x b) The plants were in poor health. or c) they were just plain BORING

Hooray Sweetleaf! No plants were bought for reasons a) and c), mostly c)!! Phew! That's OK then. BUT I bought one today though, a Sollya, climbing bluebell, amongst a handful of groceries from Morrisons.

I had a delivery from T&M this morning, complete mystery why though! I have no memory of ordering six Dianthus plants ........ Perhaps this is the next stage of the addiction, beware P.A members, it could be happening to you next.
