As long as it's a few surprise Dianthus or Fuchsias arriving through the post and not that Californian Pine quartet that looked quite nice.....

I went to Dobbies Garden World today with my sister Susie...I was quite restrained (really?) 2 HUMUNGOUS black plastic pots for taters 2 trays for above pots Huge bag of MP compy 1 French Tarragon to replace the one I killed this year : 3 trailing verbena 'purple cascade' 80 square 3" pricking out pots sigh..... Their restaurant was good. The plants were healthy and well tended. Although the houseplants in particular were a bit pricey. The outside area is all under a polytunnel-type roof and there seemed to be lots of locally sourced plants for sale (as well as the inevitable stuff from Holland) Good variety of grasses and shrubs, perennials a bit expensive.

I'm going to have to come and visit! Where are you going to put everything? You already seem to have stacks of stuff growing in the GH to put in the garden......I'm sure you'll manage but I need to come and be nosy in the summer I think...... ;D

You're always welcome BF ;D
The trailing verbena is to go in the big pot in the front garden...I'm planting a ring of gazania kiss bronze around the edge...they're really lovely little orange ones that open even if it isn't sunny...then in the middle will be delphinium chinensis blue butterfly (only grows to about 24")...the verbena will be at the front edge trailing over....sigh....
