I might have a go at Roan's up-side-down toms this year I dont think I've the room They look a bit complicated for a third timer like me ;D I can already picture myself getting into a mess trying them! Anyway, I have chosen: Principe Borghese - plum shape, ideal for sun-drying (if we get any sun!). It does say for inside on the one site but on another it says ok for outside in a sheltered spot. As we don't have a greenhouse, it will be the conservatory then! Sungold Nectar - cherry type with excellent flavour Black Russian - large, heritage, fleshy variety. I'll let you know when the seeds arrive!

Outdoor ones with the exception of the first one and I have read varying situations for that one. We don't have a greenhouse and although we have a conservatory, I don't want to put too many, if any really, in there.

I am growing tigerella and minibel - they are on the kitchen window sill at the moment. I wasn't going to bother this year after 2 bad years with blight but in the end I couldn't not try again. (Hopeful kind of smiley)

I'm growing gardeners delight and sub artic plenty. Both have their 2nd sets of leaves and are now in little pots. Slow enough on the growing but at least they're still with me.

Small and sweet toms a plenty ;D I've found loads of tom seeds int he GH, I've just pricked some roma out and sown a packet of gardeners delight, there's a packet of mini bell up there, and another cherry type, I cant remember? If anyone wants a bash at them they're welcome, but I think they have passed their expiry date.

How are everyone's toms doing?
Mine have done nothing! I put them in on 15/03 in the mini greenhouse, and towards the end of last week I decided to bring them into the conservatory as I thought it was a little too cold for them. May sow some more this weekend just in case!

They usually germinate in a couple of days given the right amount of heat. Do you have an airing cupboard BM? I get mine to germinate in there and then move them into the spare bedroom or covered back yard. Hope you get going soon.
