They usually germinate in a couple of days given the right amount of heat. Do you have an airing cupboard BM? I get mine to germinate in there and then move them into the spare bedroom or covered back yard. Hope you get going soon. I do and will go down that route thanks, I certainly don't remember having any problems last year and they were just in the conservatory.

I potted on my toms on Sunday! I ended up sowing two lots of each variety as I thought the others weren't going to germinate (this is sounding familiar to me!), they have, I will have a count up of how many of each I now have. If I lose any (of course I am not going to!) I have back-up!

I ended up with 14 plants - and I have given about 10 away!
They are all outside and I have flowers on one of each of Nectar, Sungold and Black Russian. Nothing on the Principe Borghese yet. I'll take some photographs at the weekend.

I have 8 toms in the greenhouse using ring culture. Variety - Chadwick. The 4 getting the most sun have fruits on that are around 3/4" in diameter already. But I have learned that if the weather turns cold their progress can come to a grinding halt.

That's great BM. I've come home to find baby green toms on mine too, I've started feeding them their tomato food.

Mine are doing great now, just need some sunshine to ripen them. I pinched out the growing tips last week but actually cut down the top trusses as well as there are loads to ripen on down and still quite a few flowers. Here is a pic I took this week. Gardeners Delight do have quite a few toms on each thruss.
