The Aloe with the roots? If so, wouldn't need to be in the propagator. And you can water it now.
The cat litter is excellent. Cuting were rooting within 48 hours.

I'm just hi jacking this thread to ask about putting my burgeoning cacti collection into the GH this Spring - what do I need? How much will it cost? Where do I get it from? And how difficult is it to keep it to the correct temperature in winter? Please.......

Sorry I mean converting one side of my GH ((10' X 8' I think) to house the cactus plants, instead of jamming them in the conservatory wherever I have room. And how would I protect them in the winter if I just put them on staging in there? I'm not going to grow any tomatoes etc in there in pots (concrete floor) as I have enough room in the polytunnel so I mainly use the GH for the seedling stage and to house all the tools and pots etc...bit of a waste really!

For a cactus house you need a dry atmosphere with max sun and max fresh air (an Alpine house is ideal). Average temp for winter about 40f but Stapeliads need a min of 50f. Does that help?
