Duckie became increasingly poorly as the evening wore on, I thought she'd gone when I looked at her last night but she was still with us just. I said goodbye as I hoped and prayed she'd be gone by morning and thankfully she was. She was peaceful throughout which I'm glad of. I'm happy she had over a year out of her cage, and I did manage to help her recover last time she was ill, but I knew she was too weak this time. Sean is doing some improvements to the HH this weekend and I'm going to get in touch with the BHWT and increase our flock in the next few months, we have the room, so we want to free a few more hens from their cage

Sad em but natural you gave it your best shot! Id keep an eye on the others before you got some more though just in case its a virus!!
