I've just ordered Driving over lemons from Amazon. I spotted someone reading it on the flight back from Spain and having read the review I quite fancied reading it too. Good old Easyjet - who'd have thought you'd get inspiration on one of their cattle truck flights!

Well jasmine its worth it for the savings you make isnt it? how long is the flight ? a couple of hours what were you doing peeping over the seats to read someone,s book??

I was peeping very discreetly Maggy! The flight was only 1 hour and 50 minutes over there and 2 and a half hours on the way back - no tail wind on the return journey. Just as well really as the seats had no tip back button so you sit nice and Victorian straight backed all the way!

No well when you go jasmine we have to put our clocks forward 1 hour, but when coming back its the opposite. its something to do with the dateline I think!

And like you say Maggy - you do save quite a lot flying with Easyjet. So we got cheap flights and a book recommendation - not bad!

I'm currently reading the Race by Richard North Patterson. I've read quite a few of his books and am also reading another of his called Balance of Power. Both quite similar books actually and I don't often read 2 at the same time but one is a hardback and the other is a paperback. It's difficult to lug a hardback on the bus.

I have a very good friend with a very different taste in books than I have and she gave me that to read Em. It was hard going but she raved about it. Have you or anyone ever read books written by Anita Shreive?

The Banter between you and FB is a Story in itself!!-Good Reading-- I have just finished reading a book by Kathy O'Brien-"Dont Ever Tell" a true account of a childhood spoilt by abuse--by her Father and other others--Worth a read--it opened my eyes to what went on behind the scenes --

There are some harrowing accounts of people's childhoods on shop bookshelves now - I've read a few and you can't believe what some of those children went through. I must sort out my reading - I am reading Driving over lemons, Miracle at Speedy Motors (new No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency book) and several gardening mags - usually only have one thing on the go at a time!

I don't anymore Jenny - I feel the same as you, books (and films) can't be harrowing otherwise I can't get the story out of my mind.

I loved Enid Blyton too Jenny. Was hoping the boys may like the Secret Seven etc...but they never got into them. I read all the boarding school books - St Clare's and Malory Towers and was then very disappointed to find boarding school was nothing like that at all.
