I would rather see them in the garden to Maggy, but if they get blown over, or broken off,we bring them in. Its the same with Tulips,at the moment ive only got buds, but just you wait till they come out,it will blow a gale : and what with haveing water around 3 sides of us,we get quite a lot of wind

Whenever my daffs come out the wind gets up,and blows them down,as it did yesterday ;D I blamed the two dogs on Sunday but your probably right FB anyway I have a vase on top of the F.F. that I picked up! thats the only way I will bring them in as they last soo much longer outside. I had to laugh my youngest Son moved into another house back end of last year his garden was an overgrown wilderness but his house was as well so he has been working in there! last week he managed to cut the grass down and strim the hedge he said he had admired the bunch of daffs his youngest had given her Mum for mothers day and she said "I picked them out of the garden" he said " THE ONLY BIT OF B! COLOUR IN THE GARDEN" and she had picked them.!!! well at least they still got to enjoy them! Yellow is such a hopeful colour - the hope of a good growing seaon to come and saying yes, after a long winter there is still sunshine!

Yellow really seems to stand out in the garden against the green especially at this time of year. I'd love a planter like that JW, is it real stone?

Oops! Sorry - forgot to say - they are called Primula Belerina. They don't spread as easily as wild primroses but I have one baby this year.

I remember the time when one of my sons (aged 5yrs) brought me a lovely big bunch of Daffodils--I asked where he had got them from--"out of that Lady's garden" was the reply-- All her precious daffodils were taken--and not one left in her garden--She was my next door neighbour-- ;D--I just couldn't tell her I had them in the Vase and she was standing next to them-

Oh Biggy what can you say bless I can never remember Jasmine the difference between Primroses, Primulas & Polyanthus. I do rather like Ariculas which I think is from the same family

Ohh, I don't know either Jenny - I think polyanthus have one stem that branches into many. Auriculas are stunning and so are the jewel colours of primulas/polyanthus but my favourite are the little delicate wild primroses. I liked the pale colour of the belerina but there is a much darker, brighter yellow sort too.
