Yes! I keep making suggestions but they keep finding other things that need doing first. They are slowly clearing it but it's hard work because the brambles and stinging nettles keep coming back. It's just a small part of 2 acres and at the other end of the garden so it isn't a priority for them. They don't want a vegetable patch because it's (according to them) too far from the house, and they have a rabbit problem. It takes much of mum's time to keep on top of the weeds in the garden let alone work a vegetable patch. They'll do something one day, after all their projects are finished.

If you were to take it off their hands, think of the clem nursery you could have, or do rabbits nibble them?

Is it far to M&D`s could be a new career opportunity, I can see the headlines "New clem bred by Plocket tops 1million sales!" Plocket refuses to comment as she is too modest, share prices triple........

On lottie #2 with all the others of course the idea is I grow enough for me and some for the birds so they dont feel left out...soft I know!
There are already 5 fully grown plum trees there so the birds are well provided for really, but they still attack my neighbours fruit bushes. ;D
What I need now is a fruit cage for mine. ;D

You certainly seem to have it worked out. According to my parents, if you leave "some" for the birds they'll have the lot! The other option is to make the cage fairly low so the odd branch of fruits pokes out for the birds!

Fat lot of good that will do!!! ;D I'm sure the cage will turn out fine - is it going to be a fancy one with a door, or just a frame that you can throw the netting over?

Sounds ideal - as long as it does the job that's the main thing Sweetleaf.
