Glad to hear you're back to normal Keith! I don't know what my rose is called as I'm told on GWD by the experts that Kordana is the name of a group of miniature roses bred by a German grower Kordes. I've been scouring the net but haven't seen anything that quite matches it. I don't know if it's scented Maggyd as I have very little sense of smell these days - I don't mind, it's so lovely I'm just happy to look at it! I'm glad you all like it. It's rare for me be be quite so infatuated with a specific plant - and I don't usually go overboard about roses anyway. I never have much luck growing them. I shall try my best not to kill it! I even cleared smallest's rubble off the coffee table and put it on there in a nice pot so I can see it more often! Silly old fool.

Could the G/C not help you with a name? I would be surprised if they couldn't! I remember going back to one once for a for a Euphorbia Craigeburn for obvious reasons (son called Craig)and they were all gone. But there were loads 6 days previous! When I went to the info office, they put up a computer screen of all the plants they stocked and I mean all the plants they stock! He said he would ring when one was ordered again, but luckily I found one somewhere else! It does look like that one in the Rose Expert though, but could be wrong. If you can't find it, maybe you could re name it. 4P's rose!!? Keith

It's a funny old garden centre though Keith. It's a bit run down and appears to be run by two very nice but very foreign students. One of them told me it was called Giant Kordana which is not right at all so I don't hold out a lot of hope. In fact quite a few of the plants had no name tags - which always annoys me. If I hadn't fallen for the rose I wouldn't have gone back again ever...... I shall have to dig out my copy of The Rose Expert.

It's beautiful 4P, and very unusual. I'm glad it was the rose they kept it back for you and not a set of wicker furniture.
