Is anyone's Lady's Mantle doing anything yet? I moved both of ours during the wimter and neither is showing any sign of life yet. I know they're tough as old boots but I'm worried that they've both passed on...... A whole year on and the same question - is anyone's Lady's Mantle showing any signs of life yet? Yep mine is about halfway there, atm. Don't see many babies though, maybe they are on their way.

Thanks Keith - that's interesting, I'll keep an eye out for the next few days then as it should be on its way.

Here is mine, Mrs B., it needs a tidy up a bit, though!

Oh wow, that's lovely, and well on its way. I'll keep an eye out for mine then - it's planted under a tree but with plenty of light. I've got tulips in the same area which haven't opened yet either but they seem to be out in other people's gardens so maybe the soil just gives everything a slow start? Or maybe it's gone to meet its maker. I hope mine ends up like that Keith.

We have some in the garden and after reading this thread I thought I would check on them - not as advanced as yours Keith, in fact only about 1/3 of the size, and one not even that far! Oh well, plenty of time I hope!

I'd even be happy with ANY sign of ife, Myrtle - I think mine's gone to meet its maker. I moved it last year when I shouldn't have. : l'll have to get another one though, the garden's not the same without one. I had a patch of it in a previous garden and it was so vigourous I could do anything with it and back it would come, growing in and out of paving stones there was no stopping it. But here it's going to have to be the softly softly approach.

Here is what mine looked like a couple of days ago. Any signs of yours, Mrs B?

That looks lovely Keith - mine's a gonner I'm afraid. I'll get another one and treat it with a bit more respect next time - I assumed too much about its toughness since one plant we had spread and spread no matter how much hacking and digging we did to it to stop it coming up between paving stones and obliterating them!

If that's the plant I think it is my mum curses it, it's a self seeding or propogating invasive, be careful of it, I find it all over the place here.

I have just taken the shears to ours as the flowers are over and seed s the last thing I want. They regrow very quickly after hacking.
