That's my speciality, The witch, forgetting where I've planted things. I think I was a squirrel in a previous life! I've never had fritillaries so I can't answer the question, but I would've thought that it would grow another one?

That's a really pretty one - they like moist soil don't they? Full sun - they like quite the opposite conditions to Snake's Head Fritillary. Ah - it was the Snake's Head one I was thinking of. Hope it's going to be OK.

I thought they were Crown Imperials The witch!! whatever I think I planted mine wrong It never did come up ;D do you plant it with the hole showing upwards or on its side?

It will probably just be a bit late The witch, there is enough power in the bulb to have another go, and if it doesnt flower this year theres always next isnt there?

Well it's still alive - a shoot has appeared today. Glad to hear it, perhaps it wont be late after all now, it didnt take long to recover, did it?
