That's my speciality, The witch, forgetting where I've planted things. I think I was a squirrel in a previous life! I've never had fritillaries so I can't answer the question, but I would've thought that it would grow another one?

That's a really pretty one - they like moist soil don't they? Full sun - they like quite the opposite conditions to Snake's Head Fritillary.  Ah - it was the Snake's Head one I was thinking of. Hope it's going to be OK. |

I thought they were Crown Imperials The witch!! whatever I think I planted mine wrong It never did come up ;D do you plant it with the hole showing upwards or on its side?

It will probably just be a bit late The witch, there is enough power in the bulb to have another go, and if it doesnt flower this year theres always next isnt there? |

Well it's still alive - a shoot has appeared today. Glad to hear it, perhaps it wont be late after all now, it didnt take long to recover, did it? |
