Just thought I'd make sure you all know that Gardeners World starts a new series tonight and that it's on at 8pm instead of the usual 8.30pm

Sadly though it's not on the following week, something to do with our 4 legged friends prancing about. It's back the following week and still for an hour, is this going to be normal now, then?

Last year they started with some one hour programmes as well...but settled down to half hour slots after a few weeks.

Well...I've written my postcard....if we get some of the free cosmos seeds are we going to share? I love cosmos and am already planning to grow 'Sensation'...anybody else sending for the seed?

I shan't bother. I will grow some Sensation too but as I never manage to regularly dead head, best to leave the seeds for those that do!
Wasn't it a good programme tonight?

It's on the Gardeners' World webpage...there are 5 types of cosmos supplied by 5 different seed companies. (including King's seeds!) don't worry babe...if I get any I shall share them with you

I've actually posted on the Beeb - some fool has had a moan about the apple pruning RHS expert being non English....how ridiculous....

I don't dislike Monty, but could he not even put a tree tie on a tree? I know he only gets 'paid' to do 3 hours a week, but I do feel we are getting shortchanged here. As to the idiot on the Beeb site, complaining about a so called non English accent, well really. Thoroughly enjoyed the programme though. Keith
