Apart from your good self of course Im rather pleased with my Sedums, at the moment. The Asters are looking wonderful, the wet summer has suited them well, no mildew for the first time in years. Clematis Mme Barron Veillard is looking lovely, and has for at least three months, there seems no limit to its flowering capacity. What are you happy with?

My Caryopteris in the front border which I totally neglect has, as always, suddenly put on a beautiful show of wonderful blue flowers. They last for such a long time too. It's a pleasure looking at them (I just wish the MONSTER horrid Golden Hop behind it could be annihilated)......oh, and my Sedums look lovely too!

Some of my clems are looking lovely, particularly the tangutica which is covered in flowers and seedheads at the moment. But I think the best thing in the garden is the Verbena Bonariensis - I can't get enough of this flower and think it looks wonderful.

I have to say the say thing as well as my verbena bonariensis is looking great at the moment. Also my Weigela isn't looking too bad either. When you consider it was under three cerinthe plants, you can understand why I have mentioned it! I will have another look later to see what else is looking great. Keith

My Cotinus Smoke Tree's only a baby but it's about 2-3ft high and is just turning red. And the other plant that looks really good and has just started flowering is the plant which I think is a Begonia, the one I bought from the school fete, but right at the moment it's The Plant With No Name. Lovely Hibiscus-like flowers and bud upon bud appearing. The hanging baskets are still hanging on in there 'scuse the pun.

I'm afraid you'll have to point me in the right direction Madon. It wasn't your fluffy plant ID was it???
