As I think I've mentioned before, my chickens are taking a particular liking to all my ferns, particularly the Lady Ferns!!! So I decided to get a lot more hanging baskets and put them up in a cool and shady part of the garden, with ferns, Polygonatum, Helleborus, etc etc in them, in fact, anything shade-loving getting hammered by the chickens or slugs. I bought seven green wire hanging baskets yesterday with seven cocoa lining at Wilkinsons, all at 15p each, about £2.10 in total!!!!Has anyone else been in Wilkinsons at the right moment for some bargains lately? And seven brackets at 49p each, costing 19p more each than the hanging basket and lining combined that'll be hanging from them.

Sounds great! I thought Wilkinsons might be winding down their summer stock as there were no troughs in there the visit before last, but this last visit they had a load more stock on the shelves and planters galore - get down there!!!

I have made it home from there with a breakfast bar and two stools (the ones you sit on ) on the bus before and I had my mom with me and she much harder to cope with than the two kids!

We went to wilkinson yesterday, nothing reduced at our one really. But I did get two nice yellow rose bushes for £1 each and they are in good nic for once, a sunblest and a yellow king but there were loads to choose from. OH knows they have got an enormous inflateable slide there 1/2 price so I think he'll be getting that for louis birthday the weekend Still if it makes them happy.
