I must remember to take a photo of the front of our local pub, it's looking really good. How about we all do the same?

Well I won't be taking one of our local - it doesn't have a garden although there is a paved area with benches and tables, and there aren't any hanging baskets either I can't wait to see your local though The witch

Good idea! I like to see pubs making an effort. I designed a pub garden years ago and had to really argue my case with the landlord about having flowerbeds...he wanted it all concreted over (why ask me to do a design then?). He liked it when it was finished though. Years ago at Uni there was a pub with a fantastic selection of hanging baskets and window boxes.. then one day we happened to be there when a lorry drove up and some blokes took the whole lot down (Spring display, quite grubby)) and replaced them all with the pristine Summer selection...it was late May and they were all plastic! Pelargoniums in full bloom as far as the eye could see. It was very funny...I was an innocent gardener in those days - I didn't realise you could buy plastic flowers en masse..........

There's a front garden in Downham Market in full bloom all year - with plastic flowers! I wish I'd taken a photo of it. ;D

Not a bad show IMO considering the rotten weather we've had.

Can't do it, sorry The witch. We don't go to pubs, suppose we should, just that on my tablets I can't really drink! Does that pub not look a bit like your old house, or am I wrong?

Keith You don't have to drink alcohol in a pub Keith You could go to make new friends or to take some photo's of their hanging baskets.
