Does anyone know of a supplier of narrow waterbutts - rectangular rather than cylindrical? I need one to fit into a narrow area at the side of my house.

If you are thinking about the wall mounted ones The witch, might I suggest some caution? I have a friend who installed one and while it worked wonderfully, it caused bad damp on the area of wall it was installed on.

No P, I wasn't thinking about a wall mounted one. The cheapest I've found is from B & Q - OH is going to get a couple this morning. ;D

I've just bought a slimline one for school from Thetford GC - bit too far for you now! It's quite neat though. I just hope the kids don't discover what fun it is emptying the water at breaktime......can you lock them??

Ooh no! Gate is locked! Can't have things like raised ponds freely available for children to enjoy....someone might splash their clothes or get their shoes muddy. It's against about 405 H&S regulations......

OH bought 2 butts which are now connected to each other but not to the fall pipe - his ladders aren't long enough to disconnect the pipe from the wall, so he can't connect the rainwater diverter
