Perhaps she's changing C3D. Perhaps she's moving from toxic to fragrant...

Perhaps she's changing C3D. Perhaps she's moving from toxic to fragrant... I wish she was just MOVING! I'm not sure but I think this is only the third time she has spoken to us this year. Things are better in that respect. No trash in our yard and she's not damaged anything of ours yet either. Hmmmmmm! Maybe she is changing? Naaaaa! I'd never trust her with anything. Her puppy is gone. I hope she gave him away to a nice person and she didn't *eliminate* him like she has done with her prior pets.

Three times this year? Blimey she's verbose!!! I agree with you - don't even trust her with a cutting! ;D

she sounds ok to me, have I missed something The Toxic One Summary: Sprayed brush killer on OUR side of the chain link fence killing concord grape vine planted by my Father 40 years ago. Killing a beautiful 40+ year old rose bush my Grandmother had grown from a cutting. Killing iris, Missouri Primrose, mini roses, azalea... Left a swath of death / no grow zone 20 ft. long x 6 ft. wide for 3 years. Sprayed lawn chemicals into the wildlife pond killing just about everything in there and around ... fish, frogs, toads, salamander ... Repeatedly throws her bush trimmings into our yard. Repeatedly threw her dog poo into our yard. Tossed rusty roofing nails into our veggie garden. Repeatedly mowed our lawn on the front to below dirt level ... killing a good bit of it. After YEARS of asking her not to mow our grass, we had to put up a physical barricade (long flower border) to stop it. Surprised she hasn't mowed the flowers now that I think of it! Repeatedly trims / butchers our bushes in the front garden. Hacks them down to within INCHES of ground level. Throws stones at birds in her trees screaming that "You filthy thing. Get out of my tree!" Had her Schnauzer put down because her boyfriend didn't like the dog. Had her cat put down a month later because the cat missed the dog! Made several cuts in our 4 ft. tall chain link fence. Denies that she has done anything but I cornered her once about the swath of death and after repeatedly denying anything had been done she confessed "Oh those were just weeds." I'm sure there's little bits I've missed but that lets you know what we have dealt with for 20~ish years from this fruit-cake.

Good grief, no wonder you call her the toxic one - that's quite polite under the circumstances!

Yikes! What a shame, your in such a lovely spot, and it sounds like she really ruins it for you! I hope she moves soon. I'm so happy to be nestled in between our two christines!

It must be awful having a neighbour like that I am so lucky I have lovely people both sides.

C3D posted a photo a while back, of her in action leaning over and scalping something on Lydia's side of the fence. I think it's way back in the General Banter - TN is a lovely cuddly-looking lady with snow-white hair - butter wouldn't melt - bless! She certainly doesn't sound all there - maybe one day she'll get confused and paint herself with brushkiller instead of your plants.

C3D - your neighbour sounds a very sad person to me - a bit jealous of your life. She should get one of her own

But she's being nice - that's even scarier!

"... TN is a lovely cuddly-looking lady with snow-white hair - butter wouldn't melt - bless!...." Yep. That's her! She's in her upper 60s and we seriously believe she has a mental disease. She's sweet and cuddly (like a porcupine) and then she's lobbing steak bones and dog poo into our yard. What are you doing?!?!?I thought your dogs might like to eat some bones.NO! We don't give our dogs bones. You should ask first. And you thought our dogs would like your dog's sh*t too?Oh. I never! ... and she walks away. There's no arguing with her. She's not rational and so now we try to 1113% ignore her. Try!

Tip her over the edge? Oh if only I could! I think she IS over the edge already and become impervious to rational thinking. She's coated in Teflon and nothing stick to her. She is encapsulated in her own reality as she tips ME over the edge! As I said before in some Toxic thread ... We do NOTHING against her or her property. Should we ever bring a lawsuit against her we can come to the courtroom with what is called "clean hands". There is NOTHING we have done that could be used against us. Time for another migraine pill.

I think you are doing the best you can in the circumstances - you've fixed up the fake cameras haven't you? And you do your best to ignore her. I know it must make you want to explode sometimes but it doesn't sound as if there's anything you can do. Life's a b***h sometimes

What on earth is going on? Weird or what - my hazel tree's in bud as is my cherry tree - I drove past a cherry tree with blossom on yesterday. One of my Elder's in bud, the Sutherland Gold, there's no sign of the hardy fuchsia's shedding any leaves and they're still flowering, and some of the perennials have old dying growth at the top of their stems and new growth springing up from the ground already. I cut our lilac right back and that's growing like there's no tomorrow, it's sprouting everywhere, etc, etc. That's not normal is it? But then I suppose it's still quite early isn't it......

My garden is just a soggy mess at the moment. Fallen wet leaves--and everything at a standstill--Oh for some sunshine or at least a break from this awful weather so it dries up a bit.

I know the feeling well. I still have some leaves to clear up, the boys did two bags last weekend, from the back, but there are some at the front now. When I was out doggy walking yesterday, I saw quite a few leaves where we went on the footpath! Has anyone taken a bag with them and picked these up? Are you allowed to do this, actually?! Did some more, yes more, ivy yesterday and filled the green bin again! All the dahlias are now chopped down and in the compost. The ones I did yesterday, still needed mulched, but I realised, 3 dalek compost bins and a tumbler IS NOT ENOUGH! I think I need to get some pallets and make my own! I've got the pond to tidy up, soon.

If you garden vacume the leaves up and put them in black bags hide them behind a shed or somewhere you can forget about them for about 18months they make a lovely compost Keith ;D that way you have more room in the compost bins.

They are in black, well green bags Maggy and stuffed by the shed, where the two from last year are! The compost bins are filled up with all the rest, kitchen waste, dahlia prunings, grass clipping, etc. Sorry, maybe I didn't make that clear! This might be the one time, I get to see what 'my' leafmould looks like, as I've always moved before it has rotted well!

I have abandoned all plans for apple tree lopping as it is SUCH a gorgeous day out there........brilliant blue sky and bright sunshine - I'd like to walk on the beach but no money for fuel so I am going to have a go at the top edge of my veggie garden - I have three 6X6ft panels to get in along there but haven't had time to tackle the nettle roots this year thus far....it would be nice to make a start and feel as if I'm still slightly keeping up with the schedule of work .....if I work from the top down (instead of the other way round) maybe I can get it all cleared for next Spring.......maybe! ;D

Good Luck 4P... I've had another potter this morning. 36 pansies, 6 bellis, 10 cyclamn, an abelia, arboreal heather and 6 hebe didn't go very far......I've planted up a few pots. In the front we have a pot with 2 gorgeous bright scarlet cyclamen and a silver cineraria....the big pot in the front has 5 emerald green 'globe' hebe plants in a circle with the arboreal heather in the middle....that looks nice... In the back garden I've planted up a huge tub with pansies...and put the rest in the ground with the bellis daisies...most of the rest of the cyclamen are in the fern bed now that the decoduous ferns are dying back....popped 3 in a bowl-pot by the back door too. perfick.

I spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the garden this afternoon. It was cold and sunny, so I wrapped up well. I swept the patio, weeded some of the borders, cut down a few plants that have keeled over and the seed heads have been enjoyed by the birds. Moved my bird feeders. A lovely afternoon, I felt so much better for getting out there. ;D
