Odd tree?

Didn't have my camera with me yesterday while out on our bike ride : - saw a very odd looking tree, I think it was some type of Prunus, the outer leaves were bronze and the blossom had yet to open, but there seemed to be another completely different type of prunus growing from about half way up it's trunk, which had green leaves and white blossom.

This paint image will give you a better idea of what I am trying to describe.

Perhaps your sister could 4P, as it is in the pub garden in the village where she lives.

Really? Ooh, I'll ask her....she doesn't do MB's and stuff though - she spends her life at work on pooters. I don't even know if she has a digital camera....
