What a lovely place although the garden doesn't look that small! Everything is relative I suppose. That tree is something else though, isn't it? However old is it?

We couldn't actually get to the tree 4P - I took it through the gate when we were looking at the rabbits! It's amazing isn't it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was dead. I'll have to remember to check if we go back There was a fair bit of space, especially by today's standards, but it wasn't a stately home anyway - more of an upper-middle class place I guess. There were a lot of people about so taking atmospheric photos was difficult.

Once again some beautiful camera work Plocket. Its lovely to see everything without lots of people, it looks so peaceful there.. I like the red brick too..A really perfect place to visit for an afternoon.

Thank you Willow Actually the building started off as one of those white and wood buildings, but it was falling appart so someone way back when decided to put bricks on the outside of the house. It's certainly very attractive, and probably a very early example of conservation! I did have to wait a while to get shots without people in them, often my family too, but I think it's worth it!
