OH, LP, Margi, Seedling and myself all went to Arley Hall today to have a meander around the gardens. To say that it was busy is a bit of an understatement (we had to queue for 20 minutes just to pay our entry fee!), and there were even two very famous visitors - much to LP and Seedling's delight. Winnie the Pooh and Tigger made a guest appearance, and LP was THRILLED to be hugged by the famous bear!
The gardens were lovely (lots of clematis!) and because of the size we didn't feel overwhelmed by the number of people there. And there were lots of things laid on for the kids: including hunt the letters around the garden which then gave an anagram, and hunt the golf tees around the woodland area. They got mini Easter Eggs if they got the anagram answer, and three different coloured Tees.
