Im looking for a recommendation, I want a rose which will climb 6-8 feet in a season, colour is not all that important, although I like yellows and deep reds.... I have many pink roses, mostly ramblers all unnamed unfortunately as they were here when I moved in, so not pink. The rose will hide my neighbours garden if it works out and will be in full sun from 11am till dusk, the soil is slightly acid, and dries out a bit in summer I have dug in lots of organic matter to combat this. Anybody?

I was going to suggest one I have from Suttons called Star Performer............ but it's pink, it does smell wonderful though. i33.photobucket.com/albums/d75/The witch-in-Norfolk/Lavender%20Cottage/Garden/Roses/StarPerformer.jpg[/IMG]

If it is, Ill know its really synchronicity and Ill give up the struggle. ;D I was obviously meant to live in a sea of frilly pink wearing black or blue as I usually do it will provide a good contrast and the family will be able to find me easily.
