The brickwork in my patio is now looking quiet green, slimy and a bit yucky looking What is the best way to clean it? i33.photobucket.com/albums/d75/The witch-in-Norfolk/Bits%20and%20bobs/yuk.jpg[/IMG]

I use diluted bleach and a hard brush, satisfying work on a sunny day. ;D

Jeyes fluid or Armillatox work well too. Or, if you have one, a pressure washer makes short work of it.

A jet spray is really efficient and pretty good fun too!

Pressure washer and they are great fun too, especially if you have a dog and two kids about! Oh and make sure you wear old clothing. After you do it, you will know why I say this!! Keith

Hi The witch. A steam cleaner will make very fast work of the clean up and use very little water. C3D

Getting the green slimy is only half of your problem. How are you going to get that red paint off?

Looks much better now thanks Plocket, but not quite as good as in the photo above though, which was taken just after the pond and patio were completed.

Lovely...I used Jeye's Fluid for the first time this year in my GH.... nobody tells you that your lovely clean GH will end up smelling like a municipal toilet..... : Back to dilute bleach for me this year! What a lovely garden you have The witch...I do love the work that you've done ;D. Our garden's just too small for a pond...but one day!

How about a very small wildlife pond or bog garden CPB - but whatever you do, don't use bleach in the bog garden

I agree with the pressure washer - hubby only needs the slightest excuse to get his out.
