I feel like a minnow amongst all these GLOBAL Giants. As you see I am here, but taken a long time re pen to paper, so to speak!
Serious bit.
I would always be uncomfortable if not said. I alway try to be honest, truthful and open in all I do. Hence this is on the Open Forum. I had no direct contact with Sleepy on GWD but did wince and grinch at some postings. But there again he's male. I did notice some problem re signature, the only one I saw was "finding God........ Again I had no problem with that but could see that there might have been. I was taught by Priests and Nuns when younger, now you have to have a sense of humour to be in both those vocations simultaneous. Believe me they had very good sence of humour that kmew no vocation boundaries even I blushed at times. And you've "seen" my sence of humour firdst hand.
The thing I did have a problem with was the JL episode. I was not directly involved and came to the episode after JL had gone, so really only saw one side. Nevertheless I was amazed at the tirade from sleepy, . I could not see anything to warrant it, apart from theJL quote, and that certainly did not warrant it. Under no circumstances could I ever foresee any reason for such a reply from me . You might get a dull, boring reasoned argument but it would br civil.
I also think JL was wrong in her actions and maybe used the episode as an excuse to leave. If it was me then Sleepy and I would still be exchanging posts, perhaps not amicably, but exchanging nontheless.I can not promise that we will ever echange posts but you never know.
But I am here now and will be visiting both here and GWD. I assume you will also be visiting both?
