I have just been out in the garden while the rain stopped for 5minutes and have noticed my Clematis -which was growing quite well with nice fresh green shoots growing. This new growth has suddenly gone all limp- not brown or mildew. I have grown quite a few Clematis, over the years, but never come across this before. I have Googled Pest and Disease's of Clematis and cant find anything to help me. It hasn't lacked water or been over-watered either. Any thoughts or ideas of why this has happened? I hope I haven't lost it!

Have you checked down the stem Biggs to see if it has been damaged? someone could have caught it with a spade.
