This Booklet was put through Letterboxes in areas covering 15 locations in the Northeast. When looking at the front page what did I see ? Only my garden!! This shows the bottom of the page-- The photograph was taken last year when I won /Best Front Garden' I am 'dead chuffed'!! ;D Although the heading says "What else did we Sponser?" Reading about it --It means that Home Housing Sponser "Britain in Bloom" not my garden- ;D

Thanks FB, Jenny and BM for you lovely comments-I was thinking about entering again this year but think I have missed the 'Closing' date- There is one snag though--Strangers think they can come and 'view' this small patch (one on either side of the path leading to the Front door) and probally leave disappointed ;D Thank Goodness and Fingers crossed I haven't had any Containers or Acers pinched yet which has happened to some Gardeners in the area. I will let you know how I get on this year.

Congratulations Biggles, I'm delighted for you. You've made a great many changes to your garden since you took over. It's lovely to get some recognition for your hard work.

Oh Biggs your a celebrity we havent had that booklet yet Ill have to make sure O.H. doesnt bin it like he usually does before I get a look at things. I dont like to enter the garden comp; as the structure wasnt done by me I have just tweaked and maintained what was already done. even though we have done a lot!!

I took Mr and Mrs FB to an NGS garden when they came up - it was very interesting (FB fell asleep tho in a chair in full view of everyone - had to disown him) I put a large brick in my containers Biggy, at the bottom, puts people off trying to half-inch them as very heavy by then

Good for you Biggs, your famous Your little patch deserves the recognition. Did you find out if you've missed the closing date for this year.

The closing date is June 30th so I might get it in time-- Jenny that is a good 'tip' putting a brick at the bottom of the Container--I will have to remember next time I plant up or re-pot another one. Being on this Board does help by giving me encouragement and inspiration by all members. Thanks everyone--
