The flower. It is about 1cm (half inch) across The leaf. It is about 5 cms (2 inches) long and 1cm at the widest. Whole shrub is about 1 metre tall, flowering now, not scented. Annoying because I am sure I ought to know it. TIA

It does look very familiar to me--I can only think of 'Dog Rose' or a type of Crab Apple (with the white flowers) The flowers are very much like the the flowers on an Apple Tree Or Cystis (?) I will be thinking about this one till I either remember or someone comes up with the identity of it. I bet you beat us all to it ;D

I have just looked up this plant on Google--Yes--my guess of a type of Crab Apple was near enough. Thank you for confirming it. I bought this plant at the GC last year, (Lost the Label) and am still trying to identify it-- Above is a Close-up of the Leaf-- It looks alot lighter in colour on the second photograph because it is new growth on the plant- The first photograph is more the colour of the leaf when mature. I would be pleased if you or any other members could try and identify it for me.
