Ohh I'd love one of those, even tho there's nothing to shred in my garden, free ready made bark chips are soooo appealing. I take it you do mean a garden shredder?

I take it its a garden shredder you mean sleepy loads of bark chippings then! they are handy if you have lots of prunings I like my leave vac for the leaves as that shreds them for the compost heap! MIND your Fingers though.

I have just bought Two Acer Trees (at least Riddles has got them for me) I just have to find the money now to pay for them- ;D I have never fancied a Garden Shredder--the amount of stuff I get--which isn't much, I just cut them up by hand. I hope you let us know Sleepy whether you have found it useful and how often you use it-- I would like a Garden Vac though--but have nowhere to store it---

I only use it a couple of times in the Autumn Biggs I let the leaves all fall and dry a bit before I use it! they do take up a bit of room If I lived where you are Id just brush the leaves back out onto the path and let them blow away!! Are you putting the acers in pots? Ill have to take another photo of mine you remember I pruned one that was getting to big?? well Im sure it has now doubled in size its going to have to be pruned harder next time.
