Get your thinking caps on, cause this month we are asking for something a little different. ;D We'd like a photo of one of your garden ornaments, from birdbaths to wind chimes and anything in between, post a pic and give us a description, weather it be the story of how you acquired said object, an anecdote, or why it means so much to you. You could spin us a yarn, and be as creative as you like, and make a short story up if you like. All must be told in less that 150 words. You've got till Sun 24Th 8 pm. Watch this space.

I'm not a person of few words - 150 words is going to be tricky - that's barely a sentence!

My name is Harry, and I am a Plastic replica of a Toby Jug. Origins unknown, but lived contentedly in a Rose Bush in my owner’s garden. As time passed, I retreated further into the shade and that was probably my downfall. One day I noticed weeds growing in the garden and strangers wandering around and realized my owners had moved and overlooked me. This is where my extra-gnome-like powers came into play and I was able to travel through time and space and after a long search discovered the location of my family’s new garden. Then it was a simple matter to use those same powers to transfer myself and find a suitable perch to sit on. Much to the amazement of my owners who could only assume I was misplaced during the move. I am happy here - there is more to see - so alls well that ends well.

I’ve known this little guy since I was a small girl He lived in my Grandma’s garden and then in my Godmother’s garden when my Grandma died Now my Godmother has died he is with me He must have seen such a lot in his life; if only he could talk He was never referred to as a Gnome – they gave him a special name and I cannot remember; I think it could have been Little Man but not sure

I've looked over this garden for 20 years now, The first ornament that arrived here when new. How things have changed - some good, some bad And mistakes have been made, still are, but not cast in stone. I keep being moved - variety is the key And I've watched as things come and go. There's a black and white cat that wanders the garden now, Snuggling into my neck or looking to see what is in my barrow. I wonder what plants I'll get this year? Hope they are not too tall again, I can't see the view At night, with no-one around, when I wander, That's when I see......

My name is Tarqin and I've got gender issues, I've a face heavily made up, and ultra clean shoes, I've not gone down very well I'll gnoming circles, round the pond, but thats OK, cause, my family and I have a real bond. I wasn't expensive, I cost only a pound. I'm a bit fragile but structurally sound. I brighten up the garden, and keep the living stone Daisy's in check, and if anyone has a problem with that, what the heck!
