Fantastic show you have there FB, well done. Yummy fresh beetroot, I do hope I can get one or 2 to grow to a decent size for me.

Those Beetroot look delicious--I am not keen on the taste of Beetroot only when they are 'pickled'. I only grew them once a few years ago but they were tough and I think this put me off them. I will have to try them again.

Ooo them is nice - so how do you cook them then Yes Emsey I am good at the twist - but what's that got to do with beetroot Chubby Checker started it didnt he - did he grow beetroot Ha Ha see what she means now FB - <wink>

Hope mine look like that - eventually! One row has been trampled by the large footed wood pigeons that are in our garden.
I used to have a recipe to bake them in tin foil with wine & herbs, I must look for it again, delicious!

Biggs, maybe they'd gone woody, you could have left them in too long, try again, its not to late to sow now y'know.

That sounds about right,Emsey,they need to grow quite quickly,or they are woody
