are you any good at plaiting them FB? I had a go, couldn't get the hang of it They look great, they'll keep you going till next year.

Ive never tried plaiting them Emsey,i make bunches and hang on the tree in my garden, (SEE PIC ON PI OF THIS THREAD)

Thank you,and with the weather set fair for a few days,im going to lift them tomorrow,and lay out to dry good idea fb bet they taste as good as they look too

Well i did lift my onions,and laid them out to dry,here is a few of them,these are the ones i bought in Macc last Sept,remember ,Jen

Bunched up my onions and hung them on the tree today,they have dried out well in this heat

Ive lifted all my onions now they are in boxes i just need to hang them and dry them out now for storing. Thats a job for tomorrow ;D
