Does anyone have flowers yet on their MG? I managed to get my spanish ones planted out before I went to my Daughter Jenny's last week and I'm happy to say they've settled in really well and are starting to climb. Still very small 'tho.

My mixed ones are looking happy but the heavenly blue ones don't look so good. They have been in the garden just over a week now.

I am sorry to say my Morning Glory plants have all died--All that work germinating, potting on etc. all gone to waste. Oh well I will have another go next year and follow FB-('s instructions) and do what he does then I might have success ;D You should be alright Jenny if FB brings you a couple to plant out when you next see him.

Its probably too cold for them here Biggs!! I cant remember seing anyone growing them or it could be the sea breezes that do for them.

I is not getting forgetful, your Heavenly Blue didnt do to well, not many flowers, hence not many seeds, where as Grandpa Otis did extremely well, abudance of flowers, loads of seeds,so i only collected those. Unlike you,i am not blonde, and do know what im doing.

Lovely photograph of your Morning Glory FB--and a stunning colour too. Petal- It is often the case when there are things to photograph then no camera! ;D At least you saw them in all their Glory (excuse the Pun) I have to wait till next year for mine. Jenny and BM how about a photograph of your Morning Glories-facing the other way or otherwise-- ;D Maggs I think you are right about the conditions they cant be good for them round our way--I dont see them in other people's gardens either-
