Ooooh.... I've just had my green woodpecker back on the lawn. Feeding in exactly the same place as last time.

Excellent, he's becoming a regular visitor isn't he? They are great for getting the ants out of the lawn if you have any - that's what ours does in our front garden.

If Id seen that one flying I would never have recognised it as a woodpecker here I am at 65 and have never seen one untill now.
