I love Christine - maybe cos we is both Northern lasses - we used to email each other quite a bit but then she got really busy - I think we all have different opinions of what we like to watch or who we like to watch I watched all her Christine's Gardens programmes and bought her lovely book As you may realise I am a No 1 Christine Fan Her elderly parents were very upset about the rude comments made about her on the Beeb Board and that is the reason I left there Monty D looks like my Ex OH so always feel a little insecure when I watched him

Hey dont get me wrong jennyw. I like Christine in fact I cant think of a gardener that I dont like the presenters are only doing there jobs! I had the same opinion about the BBC board I havent been on for ages they were to many opinionated posters and if they are so clever why dont they try doing it?? I think they have all done very well to get where they are dont you. Well Biggs and I are real Northeners I think there is only scotslass that is further north than us we look on the rest of you as Southeners

Ooo Maggy am not bovvered if you dont like Christine - you were not rude about her - it wouldnt do if we all liked the same Presenters Christine is either love or hate person I think - I couldnt wait for Christine's Garden to come on each week One very very rude man on the Beeb board was furious that she took the GW slot - he was the one mostly that upset Christine's Parents

Some people feel that they have the right to criticise and upset - if they don't like the programme for whatever reason, then I say don't watch it, turn the TV over or off!
Anyway, did anyone watch GW last night? I would have liked to have seen more plants, more of the marquee and more of the show without the fashion show bit - not my scene, but different. When I saw that on the website, I couldn't see the point - old fashioned me!
The man with the chickens was interesting - loved his display, chicken salad he called it I think - he has salad items growing in a box on top of the chicken shed!
Wish I was going now! I do like Malvern.

I'm with you there myrtle, turn of if you don't like it and stop moaning! Thought the fashion show was a waste of time. There were some lovely gardens shown weren't there, I loved the learning? garden, the camomile and thyme in the crevices on the stone foot path were a lovely idea. Weren't there some pretty hens, maybe I should get a few 'posh 'uns ' one day. I wish out HH had a flat roof now, what a great idea.
