SPotted the sign on the way to work this morning, might be worth a little nosey! Sounds good - I think I can be there ;D I shall go for a little look - it is the same day as the one in Solihull organised by the council 'Gardener's Delight Day' which is in the town & Brueton Park. It starts at 11.00 I think - we went last year and bought a couple of plants, it was good but Solihull is too busy for me by 11!

I managed to get to the plant sale before they sold out, I had a big red/white pop-pom dahlia £1.75. a rosemary plant 75p (big one) and 8 little black eyed Susan seedlings 50p and an Angelia 50p. Mom bought some cacti and a spider plant (she's in a flat) The Shed with the cream tea in was chocca so we gave it a miss, looked lovely tho.

Lovely emsey, you did get some bargains, well done - they had more choice at yours - it was only a little church one I went to but they had toms, fuschias, geraniums, aquilegias, busy lizzies, some baskets & tubs they made up (half a doz in total I think) and some odd pots.

There were plenty of toms and chillis, and loads of plants which I didn't know the names of And It was too busy too ask. they had a stall with bags of grow more etc on, I should imagine they'd have been good value, lottie shops are so cheap. I have decided to go to GWL on the sunday, somebody told me you can get some real bargains in the afternoon. ;D
