Does anyone subscribe to magazines? I've just cancelled my subscription to GW because I'm not reading it so it seems pointless and I can spend the money on other things - like plants! I belong to the RHS and receive their magazine which I do read and enjoy.

I don't really do magazines, unless i pick them up in charity shops, then I'd rather get a gardening book. I had a few back copies of grow it mag a few months ago and that's quite good. I was quite tempted to subscribe to the GW mag at GWL the giveaways were very good-can't remember what it was tho.

I subscribed many years ago, the first year GWL started, and kept it going for about 5 years during which time I helped on their stand at GWL - and got paid for it as well. Then they believed that the best people to sell subscriptions were the subscribers themselves. I will just browse in the newsagents and buy it if I like the look of any articles.

AG, but usually when theres a freebie these days, the articles in magazines seem to be the same every year which is a shame, how many times can you read an article about the best time/method to move Snowdrops, eg. before you realise the only thing thats changed is the person taking credit for the text?
