Thanks, Had a lovely day. I was given a telescope for bird watching, so I can try and work out what those small brown things are in the distance.

Thanks, Had a lovely day. I was given a telescope for bird watching, so I can try and work out what those small brown things are in the distance. Lucky you ! Those little brown birds, do they have a couple of stripes on there wing, because i had one in the garden about the size of a wren, I looked in my book but couldn't make a definite ID of it. Hope you get to see loads and that the cats don't chase them all away. :

Hi Ali, passably a sparrow, though I did see what looked like a black cap. Thanks, now the evenings are drawing out I am thinking more about looking at whats coming up in the garden and planting seeds . Its been too cold recently.

Its been too cold recently. definatly not a sparrow, black cap I will have to double check. It's great the evening are drawing out isn't it. And with warmer weather it's even better, makes you all excited again about the months to come.
