I've never heard of Crocus's in glass vases either - glad they flowered though.

just catching up on all the threads here. Interesting experiment, I've seen it done with hyacinth but not crocus. Can you feed those bulbs and replant them into the ground and have them flower again next year I wonder.

Can you feed those bulbs and replant them into the ground and have them flower again next year I wonder. Sorry LG, I've only just seen your message. I'm hoping to put them outside for next year. The third one is still growing but is way behind the others. I was giving them water but just so the bottom of the bulb touched it, hubby on the other hand drowned this one and since he did, it has started to grow! I thought it would just go mushy.
