It has come around again the Big Garden Birdwatch, its Sat. 24th and Sun25th, you can go on the R.S.P.B. site and download the check sheet. I enjoy sitting for 1 hour with my cup of tea even if you dont see anything you record it. So go on to BigGardenbirdwatch and take a look.

I have downloaded the chart it is the first time Ive seen this so I think it must be new! you dont put anything that doesnt come in your area because if its not in your garden it is in someone elses and is hopefully counted. that way they get a accurate bird population count I just like the excuse not to move for an hour with a nice cuppa and if I get company I have to start all over again.

You and I think so much alike! Unfortunately I am too open to a Public path to enjoy the luxury of a cup of Tea/Coffee while watching. I would have to do it from my kitchen window!

I've received the CJ WildBird Foods catalogue - would that be of any use - just having a look at it and the opening words are 'variety of new products and ideas to entice your feathered friends to your garden....'
Runs & ducks..............

I do believe it - hubby rang me to say there about 15 - 20 long tail tits in our garden the other week, I thought he was exaggerating, but sure enough they were around a few days afterwards, only he wasn't there that time!

Yes they go around in a large flock! I wondered what they were when I first noticed them they all seem to land on the same tree and flit around the garden together I love them.
