When making a homemade rice pudding, take care not to split the new bag of sugar opening it, it deposits it all over the work surface and the floor. This was followed by me spilling the milk - I decided it was no use crying over that! At this point it did cross my mind just to throw the rice on the floor as well! Should I have just opened a tin of Ambrosia? It was very nice though.

You should have just brought in the electric fire and left it for an hour or so then you could have sat on the floor and eaten it saves on washing up.
