Following on from Benetts Runner Bean thread about Trench composting I found this organicgardening.about.com/od/compost/a/trenchcompost.htmYou can also use it in the garden - just dig a hole and fill it with your kitchen waste, to enrich the soil. Sounds a good idea to me,especially if you have sandy soil as I do. But i think it will help all soils in the long run.

Thanks Alicat, I've had a read of that page, will read their other ideas later. Great link! That will be of use in our garden, trenches will be starting to appear now!
