Have a lovely day 4P - the leeks can wait, the nettles can wait, digging the veggie patch can definitely wait but some ice cold cider with your feet up and a flapjack or two, and some lovely crusty bread with something nice in between it, that's GOT to be the order of the day.  Have fun!   |

Well, thank you very much my little treasure pots! Things aren't exactly going to plan...so far today I have shifted half a mountain of logs out of the rain and under cover, barrowed another lot indoors, washed the floor cos a cat had thrown up everywhere, put rat bait down near the bird hangers and wiped Tobydog's messy backside cos he seems to have the runs.............sigh...still I am currently eating a bacon sandwich and talking to you all so things are improving! Off to the leek shed in a mo too......  PS Nice picture Roan.....how did you manage to sneak a picture of my back garden?? And a very rare picture of my pet dwarf too! Gosh..... |

Thankee most kindly to you all for my happy birthday wishes. I had a very nice meal cooked by my beloved eldest with my Mum there too which was lovely. The kids were noisy and bouncy but beautiful! And eldest bought me a Baileys cheesecake - scrumptious.........I did share with everyone though Sooo naughty but worth it......mmmmm...... And eldest has bought me a really good pair of working boots - far too nice for me to spoil in the garden....blue too! I've had a pretty good day really, although it would have been nice to beam in my mates on here for a good old chat round the kitchen table, but I guess you can't have everything |
