Don't forget it is the Gardener of the Decade show tonight on GW, an hour long starting at 20.00hrs from the Eden Project (still haven't made it there, perhaps next year - I say that every year!)

A reminder - it's the Christmas show tonight, I'm hoping to get some ideas for my table arrangement! Firstly put the required amount of place mats out, then put the cutlery on the sides of each mat (knife on the right if they are righthanded!), then side plates, positioned to the left of the place mats, then..........................................! ;D

Loved the bit on Willows, it made me want to do the same thing here, not that I have the space!! ;D

Loved the bit on Willows, it made me want to do the same thing here, not that I have the space!! ;D I missed the first 20mins - my friend rang me! Then she realised it was on, apologised and went quickly! I tuned in just at the end of Joe's allotment. Toby was using different coloured willows wasn't he? Only saw him finishing it off. I love the ideas they give but I'm not that artistic. Sarah Raven's table centre looked good. And the hedgehogs were sweet and didn't the teasel heads look good sprayed gold as well - I think people forget how good things from the garden can look in the winter - whether inside the house or out! Like you, I do like the Christmas Specials. Emsey - do you always have a bag of googley eyes in your cupboard? ;D Photograph please!

We have a craft cupboard full of goodies, googley eyes, pom-poms, 12 types of glue, felts, crayons, lots of different types of paper, the devils dandruff. Here they are Sarah and Rex : I think they'd have been classier sprayed gold

They are so cute - Toby's didn't have a nose did he? You don't see many gold hedgehogs so don't worry! I don't think the teasels in our garden are big enough to make a baby one even if I could.

Toby used Holly berries for the noses there is a garden on the corner of our grove and it looks to me to be all Holly with loads of lovely red berries, I'm so tempted to knock on the door and ask for some. A Holly bush is next on my wish list, stands to reason as we've our little girl Need to look up a male/female type. Debis MIL has a lovely lollipop Holly bush in the front garden.

I think they need to be females, and maybe have male pollenators near by. If I remember correctly there is a fully naming problem with a couple of ilexs. I think Silver Queen is male and Golden King is female. Something like that.

Though it would be hard to, with all the paperwork involved!
