Hello, does any one have a knitting pattern they could email me? Or scan and email me? I am making up a basket of bits and pieces for Debi's baby and my mom has some blue (double knit)wool, she was going to run up a pair of booties or a hat or both. We wanted them asap, so i've been looking at patters online cant see owt, they are all amarican and Mom doesnt undertand them. If anyone knows of any good uk knitting sites where I can download a pettern please let me know. Many thanks.

I've just been out to the shed to look in my 'knitting bag' - I last knitted about 3 million years ago but I was hoping that some baby patterns were in the bag - they're very old but there are booties, cardies, little jackets, hats etc and you are welcome to all of them - one of the patterns cost 4d! But I'm sure they're what you're looking for Emsey, so just PM me your address and I'll send them off to you - I'm just glad somebody will make good use out of them - I won't need a baby pattern for a VERY long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(better not!) Please excuse the condition of them but they are intact and readable - have them, please.

I wish Myrtle - I started knitting a HUGE blanket for William just before we moved house last year. I have yet to finish the first ball of yarn! Still another 4 in the bag - takes 20 minutes to do just one row mind. I really must try to finish it before next April. That's why I have only done the bootees and matinee jackets The witch! ;D
