Whilst I've been tidying up in the garden this afternoon I've come across sme big spiders...several different species I think, and some of them almost pretty..nothing too threatening so far anyway

UGH! I had one attached to my ankle, and I brushed it off, so I thought....but I had left its head in my leg. I knew nothing about ticks at that point. I soon got educated. The ensuing infection was awful, painful and pus filled, and left a scar. I wouldn`t wish it on my worst enemy!

You have to take a good grip and unscrew them anti clockwise, then no problems with leaving the head in!!

Snowy had one on the side of his mouth, which I thought was just a tiny bit of black fluff. When it was still there the next day I though it could be a flea but on further investigation ugh it was one of those! OH dealt with it, yuk!
